When I received the Mommy Patch Moroccan Argan Oil, I couldn’t wait to try it. I’ve read so much rave reviews about the Argan Oil but didn’t really know where to procure one. I was apprehensive of ordering off ebay after hearing some horror stories of customers being delivered fake cosmetics. I just couldn’t risk it especially with its hefty price tag.
So you can imagine how ecstatic I was when I finally got hold of one. God, you know the desires of my heart too well. I wanted to make sure I have tried it several times before scribing my review. I didn’t want to write a nonsensical review clouded by my over excitement.
The Mommy Patch Moroccan Argan Oil is unscented so you don’t have to worry about any lingering off-putting smell when scented hair products are applied together. It’s sightly thicker than baby oil but fast absorbing. I’ve used it as a regular hair treatment, hot oil treatment, and after shower leave in serum all of which led to more than satisfactory results. It left my hair softer, smoother and more manageable the way hair products with silicones do but without the damaging side effects. I have yet to try it on my face but right now, my hair is in much dire need of moisturizing treatment.
Priced at 950Php, this 25mL amber glass bottle is indeed pricy but it’s worth every penny unlike many cheap Argan Oil in the market claiming to be 100% pure Argan oil but are not. Many mothers swear by Mommy Patch Moroccan Argan Oil so it’s totally safe to try.

I want to know how it is in the face …. Can it be a good substitute for SKII?
I haven’t tried it on my skin yet but I have read about hollywood celebs using the Argan oil on their face. While both have anti aging properties, Argan Oil is 100% natural, SKII on the other hand contains chemicals. 🙂
This stuff is like the new shea butter it’s in everything these days I’m gonna loook more into it but I heard it’s great for hair and skin. I might have to try it and do a review as well since my hair is very damaged. Mayb it can help my hair re-live it’s childhood.

I like argan oil but it’s not that easy to get where I live. I tried Josie Maran’s argan oil and it worked nicely as a face and hair oil in winter for me. It’s a little on the pricey side but a little goes a long way and I thought it was perfect for travelling. Though having said that, I have encountered oils which helped dry patches and eczema better, like vitamin E oil…
I tried DHC Olive Oil and it works well too but I didn’t try it on my hair. 🙂
I’ve been using the Philippine made sunflower oil =). Now, I’m curious and I wanna try this Argan oil too. Followed you back. =)

I’ve only tried Josie Maran’s Argan Oil. Loved it! Too bad it’s so expensive
But totally worth it! I use it for my face (kind of as a serum) or sometimes I put a few drops in my serum or night cream! I also love using it on the ends of my hair (I’ve got really dry/coarse/yucky hair)… thanks for sharing your review 🙂
