I got the chance to sample the popular Diorsnow BB Cream, when Yumiko sent me a sample along with the AUBE Essence Premium Rouge and other product samples for Christmas. This has been the most pricey BB cream I’ve ever tried.
DIORSNOW is luxury brand Dior’s whitening skincare range designed for Asian skin. And the BB cream now an integral part of Asian women’s skincare/makeup regimen, Dior came out with their own BB cream and launched it first in Japan. Last year, they released it internationally.
There are a lot of things that makes this BB cream great –as it should given its expensive price tag. For one, it contains high Sun Protection Factor of 50 and PA +++ like the Ettusais BB Mineral White, a necessity in a tropical country. It holds well in a humid weather and it’s long wearing lasting up to 8 hours. Since it’s from the DIORSNOW whitening range, it has skin lightening properties as well as moisturizing function.
Like VMV’s Skintangible, the Diorsnow BB Cream has a darker and pinkish shade compared to other BB creams but adjusts well to light to medium skin tones. The new formula has a lighter shade. The texture is very light almost runny so it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It spreads and blends easily. It has a cream to powder finish and gives your skin a natural healthy glow. You can choose not to finish it with powder but if you want a more polished look, a light application of some pressed or loose powder should suffice.
It’s priced at 2,185Php (around 50Usd) at Nordstrom’s so if you’re a BB cream lover and you’re ready to shell out that much (for a BB cream), you can add the Diorsnow BB Cream to your collection.
